Super Sanne

And now a post dedicated to Magdalenne, M. Sanne, Super Sanne, La Chiquilla, Sanne, or whatever it is you want to call her!  Here are some photos and quotes from our girl who loves dresses, skirts, and fancy shoes, and who wouldn't be caught dead without them.

"Everything is dramatic here!!"

This morning we were driving to school and she saw the moon in the bright blue sky.  She shouted, "Moon, what are you still doing up so late!?"

This girl is pure love.  She made this at school one day for her cousins:

Speaking of making things... she loves designing her outfits and she's even rigged up a way to make fancy rings out of the hair bands I use for their pony tails.  She came up with these twists all on her own.

She is happily bold and adventurous when it comes to eating and trying new things.  Here she is having a pickle (for breakfast!)  Why not?

Last weekend, while Juliette was nurturing her love of frogs at the campground, Magdalenne managed to find the one place where she could feel like a princess!  The campground has a "Buggy Barn" with a few old wagons, sleighs, and carriages.
Here she is pretending to be in Little House on the Prairie (we're working our way through that book this summer).

While she loves all things princess, this girl is thinking even bigger.  When asked what she wants to be when she grows up, she answers "A Queen"  :)   Now we just need to find her a land and a people.
